Avaya Communications Manager--Time

The Avaya Communications Manager adjusts to/from Daylight Savings Time automatically.  However, oftentimes (usually in the spring and fall when we change to/from Daylight Time) users will complain that the time on their phone display is incorrect.  Also, if the government ever changes the start/stop dates for DST again, you will need to know how to do this.  Follow these instructions:

#1       Type "display daylight”  this defines the dates of daylight savings changes.  There should be only one entry, Rule 1. 

#2       Type “set time” to make sure that the time is set correctly and Daylight Savings Rule #1 is applied.

#3   Then type “change locations”.  Again, only one entry should be filled in and daylight rule #1 should be applied.
