What can I do about Spyware

If the instructions given in the above website did not work, we recommend that you take your machine to the ITS Work Bench located in 14 Willard Building so that the consultants there can take a look at it. This is a free service provided by ITS.
Before taking your machine to the Work Bench, you need to be aware of the following things:
- The Work Bench is open Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Staff there can be reached at 814-863-4356.
- We recommend that you backup the files on your machine before taking it to the Work Bench as with this type of problem, it may be necessary to reformat your hard drive.
- If the machine you are having problems with is a desktop machine, you only need to bring the CPU to Willard. The Work Bench has monitors, keyboards, and the like to use with your CPU.
- If your machine is a laptop, please bring your power supply.
- It may take as long as 2 weeks until your machine is ready for you to pick up. The time needed depends on the workload at the Work Bench and what all may need to be done to resolve the problems you are having.
