Creating an X-PSU-Spam-Flag Filter in Mail on Mac OS X
Instructions for configuring the PSU Spam Flag on Mac Mail Document Actions.
Instructions on setting up the X-PSU-Spam-Flag on Mac Mail are as follows:
- Open Mail.
- Go to Mail -> Preferences.
- Click on Rules.
- Click on Add Rule.
- Type in a name for the rule in the Description text box (e.g. PSUSpamFlag).
- In the first pull-down menu, select Any (If Any of the following conditions are met).
- In the second pull-down menu, select Edit Header List.
- Click the '+' button.
- Type: X-PSU-Spam-Flag.
- Click OK.
- In the second pull-down menu, select X-PSU-Spam-Flag.
- In the third pull-down menu, select Contains.
- In the text box next to that pull-down, type: YES.
- In the fourth pull-down menu, select Move Message.
- In the fifth pull-down menu, select the mailbox you want the mail moved to.
- Click OK.
- If you wish to run/apply the rule now, click YES in the pop-up window. Otherwise, click NO.
- Close the Rules window by clicking on the red circle in the upper right hand corner of the window.
