Contrary to the belief that Macs are 100% safe, Macintosh computers are prone to hacking. Here are step by step instructions on how to turn the Macfirewall on.
Turning the Mac firewall onm OSX is an easy task. This is how you do it:
1) Look for the Mac dock at the bottom of the screen
2) Click at 'system preferences'
3) Click on the 'Sharing folder'
4) Click on 'Firewall'
5) and, look for the 'start' button to turn the firewall on.
