iPhone VPN Configuration

Setup for wireless VPN access on the iPhone/iPod Touch
NOTE: You must always turn on the VPN and make sure you are connected to the pennstate network when using Wi-Fi on campus.
- Open the Settings Menu. [The icon is a grey gear.]
- Click on the General tab.
- Click on the Network tab.
- Click on the VPN tab.
- Turn VPN status to ON.
- Click the Network button. [upper left of the screen]
- Check the Wi-Fi tab to make sure it says pennstate and NOT psu or attwifi.
- Click on VPN tab.
- Click on Add VPN Configuration.
- Click on the IPSec tab.
- Fill in the following:
- Description: Penn State UP
- Server: mobility.up.psu.edu
- Account: Your Penn State Access ID
- Password: Your Penn State Access ID Password
- Group Name: pennstate
- Secret: pennstate
- Click Save in the upper right hand of the screen.
