What is new in Webmail's Contact List?
The new release of Webmail has an interactive Autocomplete address book. Its features include
The Autocomplete feature of the address book can be enabled from the Options link on the left hand side menu in Webmail. Make sure to click "Save Changes" after you choose to use the Autocomplete address book feature.
Webmail and Webmail2 share the address book. The contact nickname, name and email address fields in the new Webmail's address book only allow certain characters. Webmail2 did not have that limitation. If changes are made to contacts created in Webmail2 you cannot save them in Webmail if they contain characters that are not allowed.
- An interactive listing all contacts with the specified keywords in their nickname, name or email address.
- The @psu.edu domain name is added to unresolved email addresses in the To, CC and BCC fields. This is a feature carried over from Webmail2.
- A new, easy to read interface to access all your contacts in a single pop-up window by clicking on the Contacts Button in the Compose Window.
