Is Penn State blocking my IP address

Document Actions
This article details how to determine whether your IP address is being blocked or not by Penn State.

The University subscribes to the MAPS DUL (Dynamic User List) service. ITS does not have any influence over the DUL. If you feel that your IP address is being blocked by the University, please follow the steps outlined below:

1. Consult the MAPS DUL Lookup Tool at: http://www.mail-abuse.com/cgi-bin/lookup

If your IP address is on the DUL then please contact Trend Micro directly to remove your IP address from the list. They University has no influence on which IP addresses appear on the MAPS DUL.

2. If your IP address is not on the DUL, please try to navigate to these two websites:

    http://www.psu.edu/

    http://tns.its.psu.edu/

If your IP address is not on the DUL and if you can successfully navigate to both sites, Penn State University is NOT blocking you.

If  your IP address is not on the DUL but, you can only successfully navigate to one but not both of the web sites, then please contact the ITS Helpdesks at helpdesk@psu.edu
