Web FAQ 5.03. How do I install a script into my Web space?
Document Actions
Download the script to your Personal Web space (put it in your "www" directory). The script should have a .cgi or a .pl extension.
Use the ACL Explorer to set the script to be executed by everybody.
Test the script using our test server test.scripts.psu.edu. Please refer to the document "Procedure for installing a script" This document provides step-by-step instructions and uses the guestbook script as an example. Modify the script as needed.
Once you are satisfied with the script, you are ready to use it. Go to FAQ 5.2 for instructions regarding how to run a script on options other than the test server.
