The way we are suggesting people make image maps is to create a .map file, and use the NCSA httpd 1.5.1 server imagemap support. There are other ways to do this, such as some Netscape-specific tags. NCSA has a good tutorial on how to set up an image map. ITS also presents many seminars throughout the year on various aspects of Web development and provides online tutorials.
