Q. Can you change my URL?
A. The answer depends upon the type of Web service you use.
Individuals - Personal URLs cannot be changed.
Departments - If you are an individual who maintains a Web site for a Penn State college, department, or unit that uses ITS-hosted departmental Web space, please contact the ITS Computer Accounts office for details on the procedure and if any costs are involved. Changes to DNS or virtual Web hosting may require additional fees.
Student Organizations - If you are an individual who maintains a student organization site on the Student Organizations Web Server please inquire with the Administrative Contact for your Penn State campus location. For a list of contacts, please see http://www.clubs.psu.edu/info/ and select your campus location under "Contact Info."
Courses - Course Online Accounts are based on the course name, section number and instructor userid. They can be changed only if required by change of course name or instructor userid.
