Re-Activate Duo Mobile App on new version of Smartphone or new Smartphone

Use the following process to Re-activate Duo Mobile App on Smartphone once logged in and authenticated at WebAccess screen. 
1. Click Re-activate Duo Mobile link.

 

 

2. If you are viewing the Reactivate Duo Mobile screen from your mobile phone device you wish to add, select touch here to download Duo Mobile now link to install Duo Mobile app on phone. Once installed, accept the license agreement and notifications. Come back to your web browser and click on Next.

 

If not viewing the Re-Activate Duo Mobile screen from your mobile phone device you wish to add, install Duo Mobile from your device's app store. Search for "Duo Mobile" and launch the app. Accept the license agreement and notifications. Choose Next when finished.

 

3. If you are viewing the Re-Activate Duo Mobile screen from your device, select the touch here to activate Duo Mobile now link.

If you are not viewing the Re-Activate Duo Mobile screen from your mobile phone device you wish to add, launch the Duo Mobile app, and scan the barcode (see image above) by selecting "Add Account" in the app. A account called Penn State will be listed. There are two features with the Duo Mobile app: 1. "Duo Push" (that requires wi-fi or data connectivity to receive the push notification to confirm the authentication request) 2. "Passcode generator" (that requires NO wi-fi or data connectivity. Once pressed it will generate a passcode for you to enter into the passcode field for authentication).

 

4. When finished, click on one of the available links: Add another device to add another device into the 2FA service, Manage my device(s) to see your Mobile phone and all devices enrolled into the 2FA service, Log out of WebAccess to log out of self-service portal.
