Admissions

LionPATH Admissions data includes undergraduate, graduate, medical and law careers data.

LionPATH Admissions Available Subject Areas:

Student

LP - Student Records - Academic Program Details: This model contains all actions taken on students' career/program/plan (CPP) stack, from initial application through matriculation, term activations, withdrawals, and program completions. There is one record per student per program action.

Course Enrollment data is available through following four subject areas:

  • LP - Student Records - Academic Class: This model contains summary level enrollment information related to the class. This subject area does not include scholar information and lists only one instructor per class..

  • LP - Student Records - Class Instructor: This model contains summary level enrollment information related to the class for specific instructors. This subject area includes all instructors for a class, it does not include scholar information.

  • LP - Student Records - Class Enrollment: This model contains  enrollment information, grade information, class meeting information (building, room number, location and room capacity (facility folder)), units enrolled by class, and scholar information. The class section level includes scholar information and scholar CPP information as presented within Term Enrollment.

  • LP - Student Records - Class Meeting Patterns: This model contains class meeting day(s) and time(s), class meeting building, room number, location, room capacity, scholar information, and instructor information. The class section meeting pattern level includes multiple instructors per class.

LP - Student Records - Term Enrollment: This model contains data about the student's campus, career, program and plan as well as academic information by term such as enrollment status, academic load, academic level, GPA and units. It can include multiple records per student per term based on the students career(s), program(s), plans(s), and/or subplan(s). It does not include all program actions that may affect a student's plan within a term.

Post-Graduation Survey

The Post-Graduation Survey model contains information regarding graduating students' future plans as well as internship, undergraduate research, and international experiences. This information is collected via surveys (prior to graduation, three months after graduation, and with a final follow up at five months after graduation).

Human Resources

Current data is refreshed daily. Previous month snapshots exist back to January 2005. Data includes all appointment types. Data excludes ongoing monthly refreshes of employees after their status is changed to terminated, retired, or deceased. This excludes retired employees that continue to get paid (e.g. emergency rehire).

Financial Information

The Financial Information model consists of fields from the header and detail tables within IBISFIN. Additionally, it contains several derived fields for easier reporting and an Admin Area/Budget/Account/Cost Center hierarchy.

FI Access Information
Emergency Contact

The Student Emergency Contact subject area provides emergency contact information collected from Penn State students for notification purposes about an emergency situation that may affect health or safety. This information may not be used for any other purpose. Authorized University personnel include on-call Student Affairs staff, designated police and security officers, Human Resource Representatives, and other on-call staff at each campus as designated by the campus Director of Student Affairs.
