UCS: Setup for Outlook 2011 (Mac)

1. Open Outlook 2011.
2. Click on Tools (top level) , then Accounts.
3. If you do not currently have an account created, you will see Add an Account.  If you already have an account, click on the plus (+) sign in the lower left.
4. Click on Other Email to add your account.
5. Insert your Penn State E-mail address (xyz5000@psu.edu) and password.
6. Verify that the option, "Configure automatically" is unchecked.
7. Enter your Penn State Access Account user ID in the User Name box.
8. Verify that "IMAP" is appearing in the "Type".
9. Enter ucs.psu.edu for the "Incoming server".
10. Click on "Override default port".
11. Change the port number from 143 to 993.
12. Click on "Use SSL to connect".
13. Enter authsmtp.psu.edu for the "Outgoing server"
14. Click on "Override default port".
15. Change the port number from 25 to 587.
16. Click the checkbox beside "Use SSL to Connect". Click "Add Account".
17. Click "More Options..."
18. In the Authentication box, choose "User Name and Password".
19. Fill in username (xyz123) and Password.
20. Click on "OK".
21. Close account creation window.
