X-PSU-Spam-Level: Creating a Filter in Mac Mail

NOTE: Make a folder called Junk if you don't have one.

  1. Go to Mail.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Click Rules.
  4. Click Add Rule.
  5. In the Description box type PSU Spam Level Filter.
  6. Select If any of the following conditions are met.
  7. Click the Any Recipient drop down list and choose Edit Header List.
  8. Click the + (plus) button.
  9. Type X-PSU-Spam-Level.
  10. Click OK.
  11. In the Any Recipient drop down list, select the X-PSU-Spam-Level.
  12. In the next box, choose Contains .
  13. In the last box, type * (asterisk). Please note you may type a variable number of asterisks (from * to **********) based on the filtering aggressiveness you would like.
  14. Select the box for Move message:
  15. Select the Junk folder
  16. Click Apply.
