X-PSU-Spam-Flag: Creating a Filter in Thunderbird


  1. Make a folder called Junk.
    1. Right click on the PSU email address on the left column.
    2. Select New Folder.
    3. Name the new folder Junk.
  2. Go to Tools.
  3. Select Message Filters.
  4. Click New.
  5. In the Filter name box type PSU Spam Filter.
  6. Select Match any of the following.
  7. Click the drop down list under Subject and choose Customize.
  8. In the New Message Header box type X-PSU-Spam-Flag.
  9. Click Add.
  10. Click OK.
  11. In the drop down list, select the X-PSU-Spam-Flag.
  12. In the next drop down list, select Contains.
  13. In the last box, type YES.
  14. Under Perform this actions section, select Move Message to for the first dropdown list.
  15. Select the Junk folder for the second dropdown list.
  16. Click OK.
