Approving an ITS Knowledge Base Article

Step by step instructions for approving an article in the ITS Knowledge Base (For IT Managers).
To approve an article:
- Log in using your Penn State access account user id and password.
- Submitted articles will appear in the left column under Review List.
- Click on the article you wish to review.
- Review the article for content and standards adherence. (Note: please ensure that University Editor has approved the document.)
- If the article is not acceptable:
- Click the drop-down arrow for the State and select Reject.
- Inform the author of needed changes.
- If the article is acceptable,
- click the drop-down arrow for the State and select Publish.
- Inform the author that his article has been published.
Note: When the author has made the changes, he will need to re-submit the article and it will then re-appear in the review list.
