Find a Course

You can search for an existing ANGEL course from two locations, the Log On screen and your My Profile page. A course is an official Penn State course for which there is an instructor of record.

To find a course:

  1. If you are on the Log On screen, select the Course Search link beneath the Search and Help Links subheading.

    Select Course Search on the Log On screen.

    If you have logged on, on your My Profile page, select the Find a Course link beneath the My Courses subheading.

    Select Find a Course on your My Profile page.

  2. On the Course Search screen, you can enter text for which to search in the Keyword Search box. Alternately, you can specify the Semester, Organizational Unit, Course, and/or Section to narrow your search.
  3. Click the Search button.

    Select search criteria, then click Search.

  4. A list of courses based on your search criteria displays below. To view a course, select its title.

    Select a course title to view the course.

Note: If you are logged on to ANGEL and viewing a course in which you have editor rights, you can view all portions of the course. However, when viewing any other course, certain portions of the course will be hidden, including the roster and any student data.
