Used by research administrators and executives to run reports related to the Penn State research portfolio (SIMSreports). Used by research administrators to build proposal budgets (SIMSbudgets) and create Proposal Internal Approval Forms (PIAF).

Protocol Review and Management System (PRAMS)

July 10, 2014 – This system will not be used for new IRB Submission by any colleges or campuses.
The Protocol Review and Approval Management System (PRAMS) is used by Penn State researchers and research administrators to submit and reference protocol information submitted to the IACUC, IBC, and UIC committees at University Park and the Penn State College of Medicine/Hershey Medical Center.

Conflict of INterest System (COINS)

Used by all Penn State individuals to electronically complete and submit their Significant Financial or Business Interest Disclosures on a yearly and/or on an as-needed basis as required by Penn State's Individual Conflict of Interest Policy (RA20). Provides management of these disclosures by conflict of interest committees and administrative offices at University Park and Hershey campus.

myResearch Portal

Used by all Penn State investigators to view administrative data associated with their sponsored research. Data includes proposals, awards, protocols, conflict of interest disclosures, and financial accounts.

Centralized Application Tracking System for Institutional Review Board (CATS-IRB)

July 10,2014 – This system will be used by all colleges and campuses for IRB Submissions.
The Centralized Application Tracking System for Institutional Review Board (CATS-IRB) is used by Penn State researchers and research administrators to submit and reference protocol information submitted to the IRB at University Park and the Penn State College of Medicine/Hershey Medical Center.
